The 2024 Danang International Fireworks Festival will feature 7 international teams and 3 recruits
Da Nang will host the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival with 7 international teams participating, including 3 new teams appearing for the first time.

On January 4, the People’s Committee of Da Nang City announced that it will continue to organize the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) in June and July. Accordingly, the venue for DIFF 2024 includes the area of Han River Port (shooting ground) and Tran Hung Dao Street sidewalk area (art performance organization). DIFF 2024 is expected to have 8 participating teams. Including 7 international teams: France, Italy, USA, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and Da Nang – Vietnam team. Among them, 3 rookies from countries: America, Germany, and China participated in performing and competing for the first time. According to the People’s Committee of Da Nang City, Sun Group will continue to accompany the city in organizing the festival as well as a series of side events. 
It is expected that DIFF 2024 will have 5 competition nights
It is expected that DIFF 2024 will have 5 nights of competition, including 4 nights of qualifying and a final night.
The opening night is expected to take place on the evening of June 8. Followed by fireworks nights held every Saturday night in the following weeks (one week off before the final night). The final night of DIFF 2024 will take place on July 13.
Specifically, the teams’ expected international fireworks display schedule will take place on the following dates:
- June 8, 2024: Vietnam – France, theme “Love without borders
- June 15, 2024: Italy – USA, theme “Colors of peace”
- June 22, 2024: Germany – Poland, theme “Inclusion and diversity”
- June 29, 2024: China – Finland, theme “Liberal and creative”
- July 13, 2024: Final night, theme “Cultural and economic connection – Sustainable development”
On each competition night, teams will have 20 minutes to perform fireworks displays. According to each night’s theme chosen by the committee. unified organization, to light up the summer by the Han River.
The theme of DIFF 2024
This year’s official theme is “MADE IN UNITY” – Global Connection, Radiance in Five Continents.
The theme of this year’s DIFF 2024 will also aim for a message of a peaceful, fair, harmonious, and humane society. After many years of organizing the festival, it has also brought a lot of great success to the city’s tourism as well as contributed to promoting the beauty of Da Nang – Vietnam to international friends.
DIFF was first held in 2008. 2024 will be the 12th year DIFF is held in Da Nang.
