Janpan Bridge Pagoda

Called the Japanese bridge because the bridge was built by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in 1593. The Bridge Pagoda connects the Japanese residential area and the Chinese neighborhood at both ends of the canal. Inside the bridge there is a statue of Bac De Tran Vo, the god in charge of Vietnam’s weather, intended to bless local people with safe entry and exit. This is also the place that appears on Vietnam’s 20,000 VND bill.
